Privacy

What iboga.co records with your agreement (Google Analytics, Meta pixel), what it never collects, and how to change your choice at any time.

iboga.co sells nothing on its pages and keeps no reader accounts. This page lists everything the site records about a visit, and nothing else is recorded.

Audience measurement

With your agreement only, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read, how readers arrive (search engines, AI assistants, links) and how long they stay. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not even loaded.

When you accept, the settings are deliberately narrow:

  • advertising features, ad personalisation and Google Signals are switched off, so a visit is not linked to a Google account or used for advertising;
  • Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses;
  • the data are kept for two months, then deleted by Google.

Advertising (Meta pixel)

With the same agreement, the site loads the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta that your browser visited iboga.co and which page it opened, so that advertisers working with the site can show you ads on Facebook and Instagram later, for example about iboga retreats. Until you accept, the pixel is not loaded.

When you accept, the pixel is kept to the minimum:

  • it sends page views only: no automatic detection of clicks or forms, and no “advanced matching”, so nothing you type on the site is read or sent;
  • Meta may link the visit to your Facebook or Instagram account if you are logged in; how Meta uses it is described in Meta’s privacy policy;
  • you can also control these ads from your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

Your choice covers both Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, is stored in your own browser, and can be changed here at any time:
