How to reach the desk, how to report a factual error, and what we do with corrections once they reach us.
Write to hello@iboga.co for general enquiries, or corrections@iboga.co to report a factual error. Corrections are read by the editor and, on medical pages, sent to the reviewer. Substantive corrections are published at the foot of the page with their date.
Reaching us
| What | Where |
|---|---|
| General enquiries, press, research | hello@iboga.co |
| Factual errors and corrections | corrections@iboga.co |
The form below reaches the same desk. Use the correction address if you are reporting an error: it is read first, and it leaves you a record.
Reporting an error
The most useful message names the page, quotes the sentence, and says what the correct version is and how you know. A link to the source settles it in one exchange rather than three.
What happens next:
- The editor reads it and checks the cited source.
- On a medically reviewed page, it goes to the reviewer for that subject.
- If we were wrong, the page is corrected and a dated note is added at its foot saying what changed. The page’s modification date moves with it.
- You get an answer either way, including when we conclude the page was right.
A page that has been corrected says so. Silently rewriting an error out of existence would make every other date on this site worth less.
If you are a clinician
Corrections from clinicians go to the front of the queue, particularly on cardiac risk, screening and drug interactions. You do not need to be gentle about it.
What we cannot do
We cannot tell you whether ibogaine is safe for you, and we will not point you to a provider.
We are not clinicians and we have not seen your history. If you are considering treatment, the questions worth putting to a provider are in the treatment section, and the screening a responsible one performs is described in the safety section.
We do not recommend, rank or refer to clinics, and we will not do so privately by email either. That rule exists precisely so that it cannot be worked around in a message.
If you are in crisis, this site is the wrong resource. Contact your local emergency number or a poison control centre.
Sending us your account
We publish first-hand accounts, attributed and with documented consent. If you want to tell yours, write to the general address; we will explain what we verify and what we would publish before anything is written.
We do not publish accounts anonymously as evidence of effect, and we do not pay for them.
